  1. Neutrality.
  2. Technologies such as video and computers provide visible methods and vitural experience helping students to understand issues better. However, the entertainmental functions may be more attracting so that they can not foucus on studying.
  3. The same situation can result in different consequences on different people because of the variety of character and personality.

 

3."The best preparation for life or a career is not learning to be competitive, but learning to be cooperative."

 

  1. Neutrality.Both of competitive and cooperative are important.
  2. Competitive helps to keep the activity of society by eleminating failures. People have the pulse to improve current situation and make a progress under the burden of competitive.
  3. Team work plays a significant role. Isolation is not recommended in modern society. As a social form, people have to cooperate with others in life.

4."Practicality is now our great idol, which all owers and talents must serve. Anything that is not obviously practical has little value in today's world."

  1. Disagree.
  2. Praciticality is the necessary access to testify existed theory. And the practice of scientific theory benefits us a lot. However, most of the final results are foundly based on scientific theory, imaginary assumation and cautious experiment .
  3. The bright future in aplication of a new theory or assumation may not be revealed at the time of its birth. Science needs time to verify its effects. Over emphasis on praciticality tends to kill the initial inspiration.

 

6."The only responsibility of corporate executives, provided they stay within the law, is to make as much money as possible for their companies."

  1. Disagree.
  2. Long-term development of a company sometimes require a transitory sacrifice of current profits.
  3. Social responsibilities of commercial companies affect society, individuals and the companies themselves.

 

8."It is possible to identify a person's politics within a very short time of meeting him or her. Everything about people-their clothes, their friends, the way they walk, what they eat-reflects their political beliefs."

 

  1. Possible. Some partisan desire to tell others their beliefs and usually try to persuade others to join them.
  2. Mostly the life style of a person is more related to religion, culture, ethnic or family. The influence of politics is limited.

9."It is more important to allocate money for immediate, existing social problems than to spend it on long-term research that might help future generations."

  1. Disagree.
  2. There are multiple reasons of existing social problems. Money can not solve everything.
  3. Current long-term reasearch is the foundation for future generations, avoiding further social problems. 

 

10."Many people believe that a few individuals or small groups (family, friends, teachers, celebrities, for example) have caused them to think and behave in the way they do. Yet it is always society as a whole that defines us and our attitudes, not a few individuals."

  2. In a person's life, it is people who he or she lives with that affect he or she most. They have the direct influence. To a particular, the group of the few individuals  is the society.
  3. The group of people one lives with is the reflection of a larger group, and finally the whole society. Though the whole society sometimes do not directly affect people, the indirect influence is continuous.

1). Those innovations could never replace the face-to-face communications between teachers and students, which is essential in the process of learning.
2). However, these innovations serve as a tool to help to unload the burden of teachers and make learning more interesting for students.
3). How to make the best use of these new technologies should be under discussion.

3. Position: equally important
1). This rapidly changing society is full of competition. To adapt to this society, one should prepare to learn to be competitive.
2). Cooperation is required by our society due to the ever-increasing complexity of technology and life. Being cooperative can help one better attain his or his group’s goal.

1). While scientific theory and technology can not be immediately put into practice, we should never underestimate their values
2). The government which devotes all powers and talents to serving practicality will necessarily make damage for its equilibrium and development for the reason that it omits the important roles played by other elements.

1). The main responsibility of CEO is to make more profits but it is not the only job that they should do.
2). To ensure its prosperity and development, the company needs a brisk working structure and management structure. The vital function of the executives is to bring about an efficient and cooperative structure.

1). Politics cannot be fathomed just from the superficial behavior people showed. Correspondingly, the style of wearing and talking cannot represent the internal political opinions.
2). One’s social life is determined by many factors such as one’s economic status.
3). It is very difficult to identify a person’s politics within a short time. Instead, we need a long period of observation.

1). To allocate money for immediate, existing social problems, is useful for solving one’s instant crucial problems.
2). However, it is also important to plan money for long-term research in order to avoid being short-sighted.
